When I joined TCS Colombia in 2018, as an iSeries developer with over 8 years of experience in the banking sector.
I was looking for a workplace where I could not only apply my expertise but also continue to evolve. TCS Colombia turned out to be exactly that – a place where learning never stops, no matter where you are in your career.
I've come across many situations that really motivated me to dive into new tech. Working at TCS, I've been part of various projects as a developer and now as a Service Manager, which has shown me how important it is to keep up with IT trends. Getting hands-on with new technologies has helped me build better connections with both new and existing clients.
Early on, I was impressed by the organization’s focus on upskilling and cross-functional learning. Through leadership programs, advanced workshops and certifications, I was able to broaden my competencies.
It provided me with skills and tools to tackle complex problems, but what set it apart was the opportunity to apply what I learn to real-world challenges. This hands-on approach has been invaluable in helping me grow.
This experience has really shown me how crucial it is to offer solid support and understand what our teams and clients need. By tuning into those needs, we've been able to spot talent, celebrate excellence, and keep learning.
Reflecting on my time here, I can confidently say that the learning and development opportunities have been cornerstone of my career growth. At TCS Colombia I have not just grown as a professional but also as a leader and I am excited about what the future holds for me.
