Within a year of working for TCS and particularly the Strategic Leadership Program (SLP), the exposure from working on fast-paced sales cycles to delivering timely critical projects has been immense. After enrolling for the program, I was guided under the mentorship of highly experienced Managers, who went the extra mile, to enable me and other team-mates in the program to gradually step out of the shadows. This aided us to in becoming independent decision makers, leading initiatives and driving discussions with clients. Working on several sales cycles and projects has also provided me a nuanced view of coordinating with internal teams and interacting with C-suite executives from client organizations, while delivering value in the work that we do and differentiating ourselves.

The program is well-balanced in honing several leadership skills from gaining experience in project delivery, building domain knowledge, to building one’s people management skills through mentoring summer interns and aiding new cohorts of leadership associates in their initial few months within the organization.

I eagerly look forward to the journey of intense learning that lies ahead with the SLP and contribute to the organization’s growth.
