It has been about two and a half years since I opened my corporate innings at TCS’ Strategic Leadership Program, and the experience has been rewarding in every way – right from how we navigated the pandemic to today’s poise for growth.

The program’s approach towards ensuring that each candidate gets first hand opportunities to experience every facet of the bellwether’s operations is something I truly value – as for myself, I started off working in consulting for the BFSI vertical’s India-MEA market customers where I learned basic aspects of a sales cycle and working with delivery teams, SMEs and sales personnel and understanding their approach to business problem solving. This was followed by a challenging yet enriching experience at the CEO’s Office – the whetstone that sharpened my time and people management skills. Having received the opportunity to interact with the company’s top brass and learn from their experience and guidance sure is a blessing!

As I embark on my current role in the Manufacturing Business Group working on pre-sales, I also fondly recount on how the program involved me in the campus recruitment process – the experience went a long way in instilling a sense of belonging to an organisation I now call home.

All in all, the supportive work culture, and the collaborative teams I have had the privilege of working with fills me with immense pride and gratitude - the opportunities for professional growth, the skills and learnings, and above all the memories will surely shape my career positively!
