Hello, I'm Marcela Manera, and I'm excited to share my journey with TCS, which began in 2007 as a to how TCS nurtures talent and provides opportunities to thrive in the fast changing and dynamic world.
The Early Days: A Multilingual Service Desk Agent
My journey at TCS commenced with as a Multilingual Service Desk Agent. This role allowed me to deep dive into the world of customer support, where I learned the intricacies of providing exceptional service to our clients. These initial five years were invaluable for my growth to become a professional I wanted to be.
Embracing New Responsibilities: My Learning journey
With the support and encouragement of my leaders, I started taking on additional responsibilities, such as managing the knowledge base and other quality tasks. Taking up new responsibilities pushed me to come out of my comfort zone and advance my skills to strengthen my understanding of customer support domain. This empowered me to unlock my potential to achieve remarkable growth in TCS.
Transition to Level 2: Application Support Team
The next step was transitioning to Level 2 and embarking on a new adventure within the Application Support Team. Every phase of transition has its own challenges but the guidance of my mentors and leads and the unwavering support of my colleagues has made a profound impact on my professional journey. Together, we worked as a team to overcome obstacles and reach our goals.
Continuous Learning and Growth
Today, I am in Level 2 Support team, and I am grateful for the opportunities TCS has provided me. Continuous focus on learning and development encouraged me to take up training courses, obtain external certifications, and engage in various activities that enriched my skill set and knowledge. Access to multiple learning platforms, abundance of contextual knowledge and roadmap of growth has been instrumental to climb up the ladder.
Contribution to Team: SPOC and Multicultural Harmony
In addition to my roles and responsibilities I had a privilege of collaborating with my team as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for various activities. From day one, I enjoyed being part of amazing multicultural team, where diverse perspectives and talents who come together to achieve outstanding goals. it’s not just the work I do that makes me proud, it’s what we’re able to do together at TCS.
Last but not least: A Grateful Journey of Growth
My journey at TCS has been an incredible odyssey of personal and professional growth. From my early days as a Multilingual Service Desk Agent to my current role in Level 2 Support, I've learned, adapted, and thrived. TCS's unwavering support, commitment to learning, and the opportunity to work alongside a multicultural team have been instrumental in my professional and personal growth.
I am looking forward to the next chapter of my incredible journey in TCS and excited about the limitless possibilities and embracing new challenges in future.
