We've got a lot of legacy technology people working across a lot of different systems and which leads to a lot of manual working, duplication of effort, which leads to errors.What we wanted to do with this program was to try and take a step back, not think of supply chain as a department, but try to think of it as a, you know, an end to end business wide challenge.And that's meant looking at everything from the long range forecast through to how the processes are working in our logistics operation all the way down the other end to how we manage stock in stores.This project was all about simplifying our process, simplifying the way that our colleagues work, removing those legacy processes and improving the performance of the business in terms of seeing our availability on shelf and at a less cost for the business.Morrisons have got a decade long partnership with TCS.Over the years our relationship with TCS has grown to where they manage a lot of our different domains now and they've become our strategic transformation partner across those areas.TCS have got some experience of delivering a lot of other big initiatives with us, For example warehouse management system implementations which quite large scale for an operation of our size right through to to things which have needed tight deadlines be that Brexit or some of the allergen regulations with Natasha's law.And I think really what made a difference with TCS is how the people are working.So it's very much been a one team approach.The areas of business that we've seen the biggest improvement isn't around our forecast accuracy which has helped us flow products through the organization faster and more efficiently.And that has led to an improvement in our lead time, which means that we can react to availability issues as as we can as well as reducing waste of markdown and working capital.TCS and Morrison's relationship is very, very special for us.We started off by delivering their warehouse management application support and we grew from there, build on their trust and built on the capabilities of both the teams together.Since then we have been delivering multiple large program from Morrison's is exceptionally placed for the future growth, particularly with its plan to continuously innovate and modernize its IT landscape with proactive adoption of cutting edge technologies and focus on customer centric strategies.Working with the colleagues of TCS has been really inspirational.The teams are really, really dedicated, really, really passionate about delivering a good quality product.I think as far as the future goes, TCS continue to be a critical part of my team and as we plan for the future and over the next couple of years, I can see us continuing to improve, innovate and delivering great benefits for our business.
