Our role in the improvement service is to help local authorities improve the services that they deliver to citizens across Scotland. A key part of the work that we do to enable that is to deliver a suite of digital public services. A journey with TCS began back in 2014 with our first project being the development of the mygovs Got My Account platform, which is an online platform that enables citizens to get access to a wide range of digital public services. From the first project, we've got on to develop a portfolio of digital products and services that are used widely across local government. Over the years of working in partnership with TCS, we've built a lot of credibility across the Scottish public sector and local authorities go to come to us when they have a challenge. During the pandemic, citizens in Scotland were unable to apply for a national entitlement card because council offices were closed. Over a six week. We launched Get Your NEC dot Scott which enables citizens to apply for their national entitlement card online. Scottish Government were launching A concessionary bus travel scheme for young people under 22, so by having Get Your NEC dot Scott in place we were able to deliver 3 bus passes. It's that it really provided young people with a whole range of of opportunities. Scotch councils are currently facing significant financial challenges to the ability to deliver services once for all 32 local authorities not only enables us to improve the service for citizens but enables local authorities to achieve savings and efficiencies. The major success of the partnership between the Improvement Service and TCS is the development of My Gov Scott My Account, which is now used by 50% of the eligible population in Scotland. The platform is used by 40 organisations across the public sector, including all 32 local authorities. Everything from applying from council tax to parking permits, right through to applying for benefits and applying for your national entitlement card. The uptake in the Parents Portal has been fantastic. It's been popular with local authorities because it's fulfilled A definite business need and we're over 165,000 parents signed up to the Parents Portal. As we stand, the TCS team really know how to bring a concept to life. Many, many occasions we've scribbled up an idea onto a whiteboard and the team have developed it into a working solution. There's a lot we can be proud of working with TCS over the last decade without a great reputation for the services that we have have delivered together. Quickly turned new concepts into long lasting public services and been delighted by what the partnership has been able to to deliver for citizens across Scotland and the local authorities that are serving them.
