2008- World 10K Bengaluru was launched, Triggering the rise of a running culture, And a healthy lifestyle in Silicon Valley. The race celebrated the significance of 10 km in a runner's journey- the first milestone in long-distance running. TCSW10k was accorded the gold label road race by the World Athletics. And since its inception, it has hosted many elite runners. Like Peres Jepchirchir, the Tokyo Olympic marathon champion, and Geoffrey Kamworor, the three-time World half-marathon champion. 2022- At the 14th edition of TCSW10K, Kenya's Nicholas Kimeli and Irene Cheptai set course records of 27:38 and 30:35, respectively.
