TCS’ global presence
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is a global firm—52% of its revenues come from the US, 32% from Europe. So, perhaps it’s no surprise that TCS is one of the two major IT consulting firms ranked on Fortune’s 2023 World’s Most Admired Companies™ list.
Altogether, 199 TCS customers also made the list of 324 admired companies. Many of them have awarded multiple contracts worth hundreds of millions of dollars to TCS because of their satisfaction with its services.
With over 614,000 skilled employees, customers find that TCS often owns the skills and experience they need. And the staff is available immediately.
Six reasons why customers like TCS
- First, TCS focuses on the purpose of the client company. It’s not enough to bring costs down. It’s important to address larger goals.
- Second, TCS is committed to corporate social responsibility and sustainability. The company was founded on the belief that the purpose of a business enterprise is to give back to the community, and has one of the largest corporate STEM education programs in North America. TCS is deeply committed to sustainability, and its projects take improving sustainability into account.
- Third, TCS has demonstrated success in rightsizing business processes. For some processes, it has reduced the delivery cost by 50% over a five-year period. And that’s only going to increase with digitization, digital marketing, and the internet of things accelerating demands for reducing costs.
