TCS Green & Connected Ecosystem Solutions empowers consumer packaged goods and distribution (CPGD) value chains to become sustainable, traceable, compliant, and secure by digitally transforming and streamlining the entire end-to-end ecosystem.

- Upstream transformation: TCS Green & Connected Ecosystem Solutions– Digital Agriculture enables full digitalization of farm operations, making them intelligent, efficient, sustainable, and compliant with frameworks like the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). It enhances collaboration with farmers and producers by offering insights and guidance. The system monitors crop health, detects pests and diseases early, and allows intelligent farm planning aligned to standard operating procedures. Through drone, satellite, and computer vision-based analytics, it supports quality tracking and regenerative practice monitoring to reduce Scope 3 Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions. It also enables real-time livestock health monitoring, identifies breed and species via computer vision, and tracks livestock-related emissions. A key highlight is the combined macro and micro monitoring approach, integrating satellite insights and on-ground sensors to derive insights into yield prediction, regenerative agriculture tracking, and other critical agri-metrics, enabling better, faster, and more sustainable decisions.
- Traceability: TCS Green & Connected Ecosystem Solutions–Track and Trace ensures end-to-end product traceability, guaranteeing authenticity and quality from origin to point of sale. It supports in-transit shipment tracking, using IoT for real-time monitoring and integrating blockchain components to create a secure transparent digital trail that captures the product's full genealogy—from source to consumption. The solution aids compliance with traceability-focused regulations like FSMA and EUDR. It offers flexible integration with various enterprise resource planning (ERP) and hardware systems to enable seamless traceability. Additionally, it features a computer vision-powered analytics system that verifies product authenticity, playing a critical role in identifying and preventing counterfeit goods in the supply chain.
- Asset tracking: TCS Green & Connected Ecosystem Solutions—Connected Assets offers real-time visibility into the performance and movement of CPG assets such as coolers, fridges, and vending machines deployed at various global locations. Given the significant investments made by CPG companies and the consumer-facing nature of these assets, the solution enables close performance monitoring to ensure a seamless customer experience while generating insights into sales, inventory, and consumption behaviour.
