Pivoting to platform business models enables gainful work outcomes and enhances user experience.
Currently, platform companies in the staffing industry are business-to-business (B2B), business-to-consumer (B2C), and consumer-to-consumer (C2C) companies. However, with the way things are evolving, platform companies will move forward as peer to peer (P2P). The platforms will not just look at matching the job to the candidate but will try to influence both the candidate and the employer.
In an interview with the SIA, Atul Jagnale, CTO, Software and Services, TCS, discusses how pivoting to platform business models will help big staffing companies move toward a more seamless, automated process. He also speaks about TCS’ goal to make the ubiquitous influence of the peer-to-peer (P2P) platform understood and felt by the workforce solutions ecosystem, despite the many challenges around adoption and trust.
