The client wanted to migrate to SAP S/4HANA to accelerate time-to-market, boost the generation of critical business reports for smarter decision-making, and slash operational costs.

To promote digital innovation, the client sought to simplify and transform its business processes and data to S/4HANA. By automating tax and reconciliation processes, monitoring inventory in real-time, and generating profitability reports, they wanted to elevate budgeting and forecasting.
TCS modernized the client’s legacy ERP landscape with a smooth greenfield implementation of S/4HANA to transform data and business processes.

Utilizing the TCS Transformation Delivery Method (TDM) and integrating reusable assets, the client significantly enhanced their customer experience and improved their business operations. This resulted in the elimination of manual reconciliation across various business functions, increased accuracy in customs duty inventory, and a reduction in month-end cycle time.
SAP S/4HANA was used to transform several modules, including e-invoice and e-billing, daily sales reports to customers, invoice sending to customers via email, GST auto posting in invoices, and foreign currency revaluation.
These transformations have significantly improved the efficiency and effectiveness of the invoicing process, enabling more accurate and timely reporting to customers.
With the integration of electronic invoicing, waybills, and automatic posting of Goods and Services Tax (GST), the client was able to minimize errors and streamline the entire process. The ability to revalue foreign currencies ensured that financial reporting was accurate and up to date.
The client enhanced their customer experience, diminished manual process errors, and expedited their time-to-market by automating processes.
