Vedant Fashions Limited, a leading Indian ethnic and celebration wear manufacturing company, is the parent enterprise of leading brands such as Manyavar, Mohey, and Mebaz, among others, and has a strong brand identity across India. The company with its distributed locations of operation and diversified workforce needed a more efficient and streamlined HR system.
Challenges
Vedant Fashions was grappling with operational challenges due to manual-heavy processes in major HR areas such as onboarding, recruitment, employee data maintenance, and performance management. Coupled with this, The company’s phenomenal growth, distributed locations of operation, and evolving workforce necessitated a more efficient and streamlined HR system.
Solution
Vedant Fashions streamlined and digitalized HR processes with TCS Chroma:
The automated onboarding and employee profile creation ensured a smoother onboarding of new hires, leading to elevated employee experience. The advanced recruitment functionality comprising talent pool, job posting, candidate sourcing, and interview scheduling shortened the time-to-hire significantly.
TCS Chroma enabled rich functionalities such as attendance regularization, continuous feedback during performance evaluations, automated reminders for confirmation letters, digital repository, shift rostering, geo-fencing, and daily HR operations. The mobile-enabled self-service feature simplified usage by prompting HR and employees to act on urgent tasks.
Vedant Fashions integrated the payroll service with TCS Chroma to enable the smooth flow of employee data into payroll.
