At the 21st edition of the awards, Tata Consultancy Services won five gold, five silver and five bronze awards across different industries and services for a variety of transformation projects delivered for customers
MUMBAI, NOVEMBER 07, 2024 : Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a global leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions, has received awards in 15 categories at the 21st Annual International Business Awards (IBA)—Stevie Awards. The awards recognize TCS’ innovation capabilities, industry focus and client-centric approach for delivering digital transformation for enterprises.
TCS won awards in 15 categories at the 2024 edition of Stevie Awards, which received more than 3,600 nominations, representing 62 nations worldwide. Winners were selected based on an average of scores shared by 300 judges from across the world in an over two month-long evaluation process.
A key highlight of the win is the recognition received for TCS’ innovative work on customer projects as well as for other products and platforms. The Communications, Media and Information Services team bagged two gold Stevies, while the Retail unit won a gold and a silver Stevie. Similarly, Consumer Packaged Goods unit won a silver and bronze award in the Technology Excellence category for TCS RevenuePrime™ and TCS Envirozone™, respectively.
Sudhakar Gudala, SVP and Global Head, Consumer Goods and Distribution Unit, TCS, said: “Consumer packaged goods companies today face tremendous inflation and margin pressures impacting their top line and bottom line all while racing to meet their net-zero goals. These awards reflect our AI-powered CPG platforms TCS RevenuePrime™ and TCS Envirozone™ are strongly resonating with our customers and are empowering them to accelerate their revenue growth and sustainability transformation journeys. Sustainability for us is much more than a business, it’s our commitment to a greener planet. We have been continuously investing in building proprietary sustainability platforms helping customers achieve their sustainability goals. TCS remains committed to partnering with CPG companies every step of the way to adapt to emerging trends and build purpose-driven ecosystems across industries through strategic investments in innovation and strong IP-based platforms.”
One of the awards recognized a healthcare technology solution TCS developed in the US. Local pharmacies faced challenges such as inconsistent daily and seasonal workloads, staffing, efficiency, and expertise. TCS swiftly implemented a centralised system to balance the workload among various sites. This led to a proprietary solution deployed in 40 states to ensure a cohesive view and prioritisation of prescriptions regardless of their origin. A large Norwegian multinational telecommunications company partnered with long-term strategic ally TCS, to deliver a cutting-edge Mobile Private Network (MPN)-as-a-service that would allow its business customers to create and manage their own private mobile networks using 5G SA technology. TCS built a self-service platform that allows business customers to ask for, set up, and check their MPN services. The platform handles the whole ordering process – while ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. Collaboration among TCS, Nokia, and Red Hat allowed automation of the deployment of infrastructure, network services, and applications from multiple vendors in a cloud-native way. This enabled the quick provisioning and scaling of MPN services, as well as the flexibility to add new features and functionalities.
S Vijaya Bogadapati, Head - CMI UK & Europe, Communications, Media & Information Services, said, “We are honored to be recognized alongside our esteem customer (Largest Nordics Telcom Operator) for this prestigious Stevies award. This achievement highlights the power of collaboration in delivering cutting-edge 5G Mobile Private Network solutions that are transforming the telecom landscape. Together, we have created an innovative, scalable platform that empowers businesses to drive growth and agility. This recognition is a testament to our commitment to enabling businesses to thrive in the digital age.”
The big wins at IBA Stevie awards are a testament to TCS’ commitment to staying close to clients and building industry-focussed solutions. With a suite of products and services tailored to specific needs of industries, TCS has helped future-proof businesses across industries. It’s deep contextual knowledge, technology capabilities spread over decades and a razor-sharp focus on anticipating client needs has hoisted TCS a leading partner for digital transformation.
