TCS launches a Google Cloud Gemini Experience Center at its Retail Innovation Lab in Chennai, India, for clients to experience, ideate, and co-develop solutions across the value chain
CHENNAI | MUMBAI, April 11, 2025: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a global leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions, has partnered with Google Cloud to enhance its artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI (GenAI) offerings in the retail industry. Through this initiative, TCS will leverage its deep domain expertise combined with Google Cloud’s robust platform to help customers experience and co-create AI solutions tailored for specific business needs and emerging challenges in retail.
Under the new collaboration, TCS is working with Google Cloud to make AI-powered retail solutions more accessible to clients. Central to this initiative is the Google Cloud Gemini Experience Center launched at the TCS Retail Innovation Lab in Chennai, India. This center will serve as a hub for retail clients to experience TCS’ retail AI offerings, enabling customers to ideate and prototype AI solutions using Google’s suite of AI and GenAI capabilities.

Building on this partnership, TCS has introduced five AI-driven retail service offerings that leverage Google Cloud’s advanced AI and GenAI capabilities. These innovative solutions aim to tackle critical challenges within the retail industry, enhancing customer experiences, boosting operational efficiency, and creating a more responsive supply chain. These service offerings include:
Additionally, retail customers will also be able to experience the TCS Optumera™ and TCS OmniStore™ solutions on Google Cloud at the new center, helping to make integrated merchandising decisions and drive a frictionless, and personalized customer experience across all touchpoints.
TCS and Google Cloud also intend to bring these AI-powered retail offerings to TCS’ innovation labs and hub locations worldwide, starting with TCS’ London Pace Port™ later this year.
