TCS Shankar Narayanan Receives Chairman’s Award in UK Tech Awards

London | Mumbai, 14th June 2016: Shankar Narayanan, Head, UK & Ireland, Tata Consultancy Services (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a leading global IT services, consulting and business solutions organization, has received the Chairman’s Award at the Top 100 Asian Stars in UK Tech Awards, hosted by Diversity UK in association with KPMG, NewAsianPost and Wayra.

Held at The Trampery, Old Street on Monday 13^th June, Shankar was presented the award by Dilip Joshi MBE, Chairman of Diversity UK, and Nikhil Rathi, CEO of the London Stock Exchange for his outstanding contribution to the technology industry in the UK.

Diversity UK is a national think tank to research, advocate and promote new ideas for improving diversity and inclusion in Britain. The Top 100 Asian Stars in UK Tech list is one of its publications aimed at showcasing diverse talent in Britain. The annual launch event celebrated those at Executive Levels within established companies and Founders in startups, with the shortlist process being carried out by a panel of eleven judges from different sectors of the technology world.
