TCS Expands Partnership with M&G to Help Drive its Cloud-Only Strategy and Accelerate Business Transformation

Tata Consultancy Services to Help the International Savings and Investment Provider Modernise its Application Estate and Migrate to a Public Cloud, Enhancing Agility, User Experience and Speed to Market

LONDON | MUMBAI, January 20, 2023: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS) has expanded its partnership with M&G, an international savings and investments business, to help the latter transform towards a cloud-only organisation by 2025.

TCS has been a strategic partner to M&G for more than five years. The new partnership will see TCS modernising and simplifying M&G’s legacy infrastructure estate, facilitating its exit from on-premise data centres and migration to Microsoft Azure through a series of technology and business transformation initiatives.

Leveraging its deep contextual knowledge of M&G’s IT and business landscape, TCS will transform its application estate, adopting modern, cloud-native architectures. This will enhance the resilience and stability of critical applications, helping the company serve end-customers better and faster.

TCS’ investments over the years into cloud deployment methodologies and tools, including TCS Cloud Counsel and TCS Migration Factory for Microsoft Cloud, will help accelerate M&G’s cloud transformation journey. Using its proprietary frameworks, TCS will provide M&G a detailed assessment of its current estate, a data-driven migration roadmap, and a specialised DevOps pipeline to seamlessly migrate applications to the cloud.

The resultant improved agility, automation and insights across the cloud operations will help M&G quickly scale up or down as per business priorities. The cloud-native and simplified architecture is expected to help the company enhance the experience for all stakeholders, improve responsiveness, and accelerate speed to market.
