TCS Awarded “Supplier of the Year” by Owens Corning

TCS recognized for helping to align strategies, roadmaps, safety and sustainability and deliver key end-customer market insights

Mumbai, October 31, 2011: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a leading IT services, consulting and business solutions organization, announced today that the company has received the “Supplier of the Year” award from Owens Corning.

Owens Corning’s Supplier of the Year award recognizes the contribution and commitment of its finest partners. A panel was set up by Owens Corning to evaluate the suppliers and announce results. Satisfying the judges’ criteria of value creation for the company, TCS emerged as the winner following a stringent selection process. The award was presented to TCS by Steve Nowak, Vice President - Global Sourcing, at Owens Corning’s inaugural “Supplier Day” recognition event held on September 21, 2011.
