The quiz is designed to hone the technology skills of the country’s future talent pool in an engaging manner.
MUMBAI, July 9, 2024: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS) a global leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions, announced the 2024 edition of TCS InQuizitive, an innovative learning initiative designed for high school students. TCS’ flagship annual quiz takes a gamified approach to hone students’ skills in new-age technologies and nurtures the country’s future talent.
The 2024 edition of TCS InQuizitive promises a more dynamic and engaging experience with the return of physical, on-ground quizzes across 12 cities: Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Indore, Chennai, Nagpur, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Bhubaneswar, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, and Kochi, bringing back the thrill and energy of competitive quizzing for both participants and audiences. Winners and runners-up from each regional round will qualify for the semi-finals and finals in Mumbai.
The quiz is open to school students from classes 8 to 12, including those from pre-university and junior college. There is no entry fee for participation.
Abhinav Kumar, Chief Marketing Officer, TCS, said, “India will need more than 30 million digitally skilled professionals in the next few years to help shape its digital future. TCS InQuizitive is an excellent platform to engage with and inspire the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers. By gamifying the learning experience and taking it beyond the classroom, we expand the scope of technology learning for students across the country.”
TCS has been associated with quizzing for over two decades, starting with the inception of TCS IT Wiz in 1999, one of the biggest inter-school IT quizzes in India. As a technology enabler, TCS has been at the forefront of introducing initiatives that help young minds stay updated with the latest technological trends.
Last year the quiz received over 17,000 registrations from across the country. TCS InQuizitive 2024 will cover a diverse range of subjects related to the applications of Information Technology across various industries and sectors. The quiz will delve into emerging areas such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, automation, and robotics. It will also explore the impact of technology in fields like education, entertainment, banking, advertising, sports, social media, and mobile technology.
