Honor Marks TCS’ 2nd Premier Supplier Award from Recognized Leader in Global Power Management

Mumbai, May 29, 2012: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS) a leading IT services, consulting, and business solutions organization, today, announced that it received the 2011 Eaton Premier Supplier Award for the Indirect Supplier in Information Technology Services category. Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation honored 33 of its best suppliers at its seventh Supplier Awards Program in April at the downtown Cleveland Marriott.

Direct Materials suppliers are those which provide goods used directly in the making of products (e.g., steel, bearings, seals, castings); Indirect Materials and Services suppliers provide goods or services to support plant production and maintenance or office services (e.g., cutting fluid, maintenance repair, office supplies, travel services).
