Mumbai, January 23, 2013: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a leading IT services, consulting, and business solutions organization, today, announced that it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the Leaders Quadrant in its report, Magic Quadrant for Oracle Application Management Service Providers, Worldwide, published on December 20, 2012.

Gartner Magic Quadrant reports are a culmination of research in a specific market that provides a wide-angle view of the relative position of the market’s competitors. Focusing on how well technology providers are executing against their stated vision, this Gartner Magic Quadrant report evaluated providers of Oracle application management services globally. The key criteria for this study focused on a number of factors including the ability to execute, e.g., overall viability, market responsiveness and track record, etc., as well as the completeness of vision, e.g., market understanding, marketing strategy, product strategy, etc.
