TCS held a launch activity on June 13, 2014, to introduce TCS Embedded Code Analyzer (TCS ECA) in Nagoya. TCS ECA is a solution that enhances the software assurance lifecycle for automotive, high tech and other industries that develop products, which rely on embedded software. The solution was co-developed and launched in January 2014 with Nissan Motor Co., Ltd (Nissan), complying with international regulations, such as ISO 26262 and MISRA-C.
Post the latest launch, TCS aims to accept license orders from parts manufacturers in the Chubu region. The new version of TCS ECA has introduced a number of enhancements to its original iteration in January, including a Compliance Analyzer add-on for ISO 26262 and MISRA C 2004, which ensures compliance with ISO 26262:2011 and MISRA C 2004 guidelines. It processes large volumes of data and enables for more efficient detection of defects.
“TCS aims to accept orders from 25 manufactures in the medium-to-long-term forecast. We will provide services proactively in the Chubu region, the hub of the automotive industry.” said Regu Ayyaswamy, Global Head and Vice President, Engineering and Industrial Services, TCS, who was in Japan for the launch activity.
The Japanese arm of TCS, TCS Japan will combine IT Frontier Corporation (Mitsubishi group) in July and consolidate their offices in Nagoya for expanding and enhancing sales activities and services in Chubu.
