Quartz^TM from Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (TCS) has won the Gold Prize for Digital Identity Innovation at the Future Digital Awards for Fintech & Payments 2024 by Juniper Research in the Banking Innovation category. The Future Digital Awards, conferred by Juniper Research, recognize organizations that have made outstanding contributions in their industries and are positioned to make a significant impact in the future. The Quartz solution for digital identity leverages distributed ledger technology (DLT) to create a secure, decentralized, and verifiable framework for digital identities and credentials. These decentralized identifiers (DIDs) which are managed on the blockchain, are encrypted and used for identity issuance, storage, and verification, ensuring secure storage as well as verification in a privacy-preserving manner.
