SUNNYVALE, CALIFORNIA | MUMBAI, INDIA, JANUARY 22, 2025: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a global leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions, announced a strategic partnership with Google Cloud to enhance its AI and GenAI offerings for customers in the communication, media, and information services industry. This partnership is aimed at accelerating AI adoption for telecommunication enterprises by combining TCS’ deep domain expertise with Google Cloud’s robust platform.
A key highlight of this collaboration is the launch of the TCS Cognix™ Platform, for Network Services on Google Cloud. This AI-powered platform is designed to modernize and standardize operations for telecom enterprises, enabling greater service resilience, operational efficiency, and cost optimization for clients.
Victor Morales, Vice President of Global Systems Integrators Partnerships, Google Cloud said, “Generative AI can help enterprises increase productivity, streamline complex processes, and improve everyday work for their employees. Through our partnership with TCS, we will provide customers with the industry expertise and leading technology to accelerate time-to-value from AI investments.”
As part of this strategic collaboration, TCS and Google Cloud have also established a Generative AI Experience Centre at the TCS Pace Port™ in New York. This cutting-edge facility will serve as a hub where telecom companies can collaborate, prototype innovative solutions, and accelerate their digital transformation journeys. The centre will focus on utilizing Google Cloud-powered AI and Generative AI innovation to drive customer engagement, enabling clients to rapidly prototype ideas and develop comprehensive solutions, resulting in enhanced time-to-market and greater business value.
Akhilesh Tiwari, President, Communications, Media and Information Services, TCS, said, “Our telecom, media and information services customers are looking for innovative solutions to drive digital transformation through increased AI adoption. Our partnership with Google Cloud and deployment of offerings like Cognix™ and TCS CX Transformer for Telcos, on the Google Cloud platform is a significant step towards meeting these needs. Together, we will empower our customers to unlock new levels of efficiency, innovation, and business growth.”
To further enable innovation, TCS has adopted Gemini Code Assist—an AI-powered coding assistant—to enhance the productivity and efficiency of its development teams. Gemini Code Assist helps improve the software development life cycle with productivity and quality, strengthens code accuracy and accelerates the deployment of high-quality solutions, ensuring telecom customers benefit from faster delivery cycles and robust operational support.
For its comprehensive digital solutions, TCS has received numerous recognitions from Google Cloud. In 2024, it received three major recognitions— Google Cloud Global Expansion Partner of the Year, Google Cloud Specialization Partner of the Year - Data Management and Google Cloud Talent Development Partner of the Year - Asia Pacific, among others.
